2008 - 2009: Ptolemaida – Greece:
Averaged 17.2 points with 41% 3-point shooting and 3.6 rebounds per game for Ptolemaida. Also contributed 2.7 
assists and 2.8 steals per game.   Finished the season 6th in scoring and 3rd in steals for the Greek League. Scored 
20 or more points on 7 occasions with 32 points twice.

2006 - 2007: Galatasaray & Ari Kolej – Turkey:
Started the season exceptionally well with Galatasaray. In February 2007 she was traded to Ari Kolej. For the season 
she averaged 16.5 points and 4.5 assists per game. She was named an All-Star and the top point guard of the 
Turkish league.

WNBA Career:

Summer 2008: Minnesota Lynx & Washington Mystics:
After a single game appearance in Minnesota, Smith was signed by the Washington Mystics where she played in 28 
games including four starts.  She completed the season with 4.3 ppg.

Summer 2007: Houston Comets
As starting point guard, she averaged 6.3 points and 2.7 assists per game.  Recorded her highest WNBA career 
scoring effort of 18 points against Phoenix, 6/24/07.

Summer 2006: Phoenix Mercury
Drafted by the Phoenix Mercury with the 32nd overall pick, Smith saw action in 22 games averaging 2.7 ppg, 1.0 apg, 
and 1.0 rpg.

Iowa Career:
Finished her career ranked fifth in Iowa career steals (213) and 3-pointers made (116) and 14th in scoring (1,193).   
Ranks fourth in Iowa single-season free throw percentage (.850) and ninth in steals (2.4) and scoring (17.2) all 
established her senior year.  Scored double figures 62 times in her career, including a combined 57 times her last two 
seasons.  Tallied a combined twenty 20-point games her last two years.

records in field goal (1.000, 9-9) and free throw (1.000, 11-11) percentages, free throws made (15) and 3-pointers 
attempted (14).  Ranked in the top 10 of five Big-Ten Categories: Fifth in scoring with an average of 17.2 ppg, third in 
steals with 2.41 per game, sixth in free throw percentage averaging 85% accuracy from the charity stripe, seventh in 
assist:turnover ratio (1.44), and eighth in made 3-pointers averaging 1.72 per game.  Also was 13th in the conference 
in assists averaging 3.38 per game. Scored 20 points or more nine times.  Led Iowa to the Big Ten Conference 
Tournament Quarterfinals and an NCAA Tournament Berth.  Competed on the 2005 Big Ten Foreign All-Stars Team.

Big Ten Player of the Week

Led team to the NCAA second round and the WNIT semifinals.  Ranks second in Iowa junior single-season scoring 
(556), third in 3-pointers made (49) and fourth in steals (80).  Produced a +12.9 scoring increase from her sophomore 
to junior year, which ranked second in the nation.  Ranked fifth in Big Ten scoring (16.8), sixth in field goal percentage 
(.509), 11th in free throw percentage (.769) and fourth in steals (2.42).  Scored double figures in 30 out of 33 games, 
including 20 points or more 11 time (4th in the Big Ten).  Totaled 23 points, including matching a career high of four 
3's and also collected four steals, three rebounds and three assists in Big Ten Tournament triumph over Michigan.  
Netted a team-high 21 points and collected four assists and three steals at Nebraska in the WNIT second round.  
Played all 40 minutes and tallied 20 points, three rebounds, two assists and two steals vs. Arkansas State in the WNIT 
quarterfinals. Posted 18 points, four rebounds, six assists and three steals at Southwest Missouri State in the WNIT 
semifinals.

2003 - 2004:
Played in all 29 games.  Scored 114 points (3.9 ppg), grabbed 65 rebounds (2.2 rpg) and ranked second on the team 
in steals (49).   Scored in double figures three times.  Helped team to an NCAA Tournament Berth and to the Big Ten 
Conference Tournament Quarterfinals.

2002 - 2003:
Played in 21 games after missing the first 7 recovering from an ankle injury.  Finished the season with 24 points (1.1 
ppg), 16 rebounds (0.8 rpg) and 14 steals. Tallied two points and two steals in the semifinals of the Big Ten 
Tournament vs. Purdue.  Collected one rebound and one steal in Iowa's quarterfinal win over Minnesota in the Big 
Ten Tournament.
